Not all motorized screens are built the same. MagnaTrack uses a patented magnetic tensioning system that keeps the screen fabric taut and wrinkle-free even in wind—a problem that plagues standard roller systems. The result is a screen that looks as good deployed as it does retracted, with no flapping, billowing, or lateral guides running across your sightline.

Understanding MagnaTrack Screen Fabrics

Screen fabric is the most important choice in a MagnaTrack project—mesh density and color determine your light, airflow, and privacy. Higher-opacity fabrics block more heat and glare; lower-opacity options favor breeze and natural light. Darker mesh preserves your outward view, while lighter mesh offers better privacy from outside. White fabric doubles as an outdoor movie projection screen.

For extreme weather exposure, MagnaTrack also offers hurricane-rated screen fabric engineered to withstand winds up to 150 mph. Standard MagnaTrack screens are rated to 75 mph.

In-Home Measurement

Our specialist visits your space to assess exact dimensions, mounting conditions, motor placement, and control options. This precision step ensures a clean installation.

Custom
Fabrication

Your MagnaTrack system is manufactured to exact specifications. Typical lead time is 4–6 weeks.

Installation & Walkthrough

Our team handles mounting, wiring, and tension calibration. Most single-screen installs are completed in one visit. Includes a full walkthrough of controls and one year of complimentary service calls.

MagnaTrack handles openings up to 30 feet wide by 20 feet tall without intermediate posts. Every system is custom-built to your exact dimensions; custom sizing is the norm, not the exception.

MagnaTrack’s magnetic tensioning system is specifically designed to resist wind movement better than guide-channel systems. Standard screens are rated to withstand winds up to 75 mph. Hurricane-rated screen fabric is also available, engineered to withstand winds up to 150 mph.

Darker mesh is easier to see through from inside because it absorbs light—choose darker if preserving your view matters most. Lighter mesh reflects more light, making it harder to see through from outside—choose lighter if privacy is the priority. White mesh can double as a projection screen for outdoor movie nights.

The mesh can be wiped down with mild soap and water. The powder-coated housing and frame are weather-resistant and require no regular maintenance.

Every MagnaTrack installation from M.C. Weeks, Inc. includes one year of complimentary service calls. After the first year, we continue to service every product we sell for a standard service call fee.

Typical lead time is 4–6 weeks from the date your deposit is collected at the showroom consultation. Timelines can vary by season.
